The Board of Public Safety met in the Executive Session on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 8:10 a.m. The
meeting was held in the Common Council Informal Meeting Room, 4" Floor, County City Building,
227 West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana for the Purposes specified in T.C. 5-14-1.5 -
6.1(b)(6)(A). Board President John Collins, and Board Members Eddie Miller, Luther Taylor, and
Daniel Jones were present. Also present were Hearing Officer Roland Chamblee and Attorney
Jessica Brock. Board members did not discuss any subject matter other than the subject matter as
specified in the Public Notice. The meeting adjourned at 8:38 a.m.

The Board of Public Safety met in a Special Meeting at 8:42 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 with
Board President John Collins and Board Members F,ddie Miller, Luther Taylor, and Daniel. Jones —
present. Also present were Hearing Officer Roland Chamblee; Board's Legal Counsel, Kevin
Podlanski; Defense Attorney Vince Campiti. The meeting was held in the Common Council
Chambers, 4" Floor, County City Building, 227 West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana.
FIRE DEPARTMENT
HEARING OF DISCIPLINARY CHARGES — MICHAEL BROWN
This was the date set for the Hearing of the Charges against Firefighter Michael Brown. There was a
court reporter from Midwest Reporting present to record the hearing.
