AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2802 APPROVED BY
THE MAYOR OCTOBER 29, 1929, AND ORDINANCE NUMBER 3059
APPROVED BY THE MAYOR JUNE 7, 1934 RELATING TO PLUMBING.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 1. That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3059 approved by the
Mayor on June 7, 1934 be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows, to -wit:
License required to do plumbing: No person shall here-
after install or repair any plumbing system or any part
thereof within the City of South Bend, Indiana until he
shall have procured a license as Journeyman or Master
Plumber and also seaur,ed a permit in accordance with
the requirements of said`Ordinances.
SECTION 2. That said Ordinances be amended by adding thereto the
following Section:
Any license secured by any Journeyman or Master Plumber
under said Ordinances is non - transferable and it shall
be unlawful to loan or transfer such a plumbing license
or to allow any one to work under a plumbing license
held by another.
