ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE,AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN PERSONAL
PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND IN
POSSESSION OF THE DEPa
ARTMENT OF PUBLIC
SAFETY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana:
Section I - That the Board of Public Safety be author -
ized and directed to sell and dispose of the follow-
ing personal property to the highest and best bidder
for cash after due notice has been given the public
of the terms and conditions of the sale. The items
being:
6 - Old Batteries
4 - Tires and rims - size 9 x 24, fairly
good condition.
1 - chasis formerly #3 Engine Company.
Section II - That said articles appear not to be wojpth
more than $100.8A it is ordered and directed by the
Council that no appraisers be appointed.
Section III - This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and signature
