ORDINANCE NO. 3121 AS A1AENDED
ALT ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $10,050.00 FROM THE GENERAL
FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
STREETS, CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND ALLOCATING SAID SUM
TO VARIOUS DEPARTMENT HEADS IN SAID DEPART-
MENT FOR OPERATIO OF STREET DEPART-
MENT FOR BALANCE OF YEAR 1935.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana:
Section I - That the sum of $100.00 be and the same is hereby appro-
priated from the general fund of the City of South Bend to the De-
partment of Public Streets, account #221 -I -3b, for the furnishing of
electric current for the Street Department for the balance of the
year 1935-
Section II - That the sum of $450.00 be and the same is hereby appro-
priated from the general fund of the City of South Bend to the De-
partment of Public Streets, account #25- I- 3a.for repairs and equip-
ment in the Street Department for the balance of the year 1935.
Section III - That the sum of $200.00 be and the same is hereby appro-
priated from the general fund of the City of South Bend to the Depart-
ment of Public Streets, account #321 -I -4, for coal for the Street De-
partment for the balance of the Year 1935•
Section IV - That the sum of $2500.00 be and the same is hereby appro-
priated from the general fund of the City of South Bend to the Depart-
ment of Public Streets, account #331 -I -5, for gasolene forihe Street
Department for the balance of the year 1935
Section V - That the sum of $200.00 be and the same is hereby appro-
priated from the gKXX general fund of the City of South Bend to the
Department of Public Streets, account #332 -I -6 for Oil for the Street
Department for the balance of the year 1935.
Section VI - That the sum of $400.00 16e and the same is hereby appro-
priated from the general fund of the City of South Bend to the Depart-
ment of Public Streets, account #333 -I -7, for Tires and Tunes for the
Street Department for the balance of the year 1935•
Section VII - That the sum of $500.00 be and the same is hereby appro-
priated from the general fund of the City of South Bend to the Depart-
ment of Public Streets, account #451 -I -13, for the purchase of parts
of equipment for the Street Department for the balance of the year
1935.
Section VIII - That the sum of $5,400.00 be and the same is hereby
appropriated. from the general fund of the City of South Bend, to the
fund to be noted as the W. P. A. fund for the nurchase of materials and
equipment to assist the department in taking care of their share in
the Works Progress Administration projects for the balance of the year
1935-
Section IX – This ordin2nce shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, public hearing, Legal publication, and
signature by the Mayor.
