AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING A CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BY
AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
THROUGH ITS BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND
THE INDIANA AND MICHIGAN ELECTRIC
COMPANY ON APRIL 15s 1935.

Be it ordained by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana -
Section I.
Vat the action of the Board of Public works
on April 15, 1935 in entering into a contract with
the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company for the
furnishing of electricity and power to the said city
for a period of five (5) years from the lst day of
January, 1935 to the lst day of January, 1940 be
ratified and confirmed.
That said contract is as follows:

Section II.
This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and legal publi-
cation.
