AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $50.00 FROM THE GENERAL
FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BIND TO ACCOUNT T -7 UNDER THE
BOARD OF HEALTH FOR TRAVELING EXPENSES IN DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council, of the City of South
Bend, Indiana-
Section I.
That the sum of 450.00 be and the same is hereby appropriated
from the General Fund to Account T -7 under the Board of Health
for traveling expenses.
Section II.
This Council finds that this amount has been already expended
by the Health Board for sending the Secretary of the Health
Board to the National Convention at New Orleans and
specifically approves said action as an emergency and authorizes
the Controller of the City to reimburse Dr. F. R. Nicholas Carter
in the sum of $50.00 for money laid out and expended in making
the trip to New Orleans for said Convention.
Section III.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, legal publication, signature by the Mayor and
approval of the State Tax Board.
