activities.
V1*00, the Common Council acknowledges that special summer activities designed to
"make the past come alive" are taking place in the West Washington National Historic
District and at Copshaholm; and
V01Ceas, the "Around the Block" activities began on June 17th and run every
Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. through August 12th - with all activities free to
children ages 8 to 12 years of age; and
'QWl7trtas, additionally every Thursday through August the "Tea and Tour" program will
continue with tours of the West Washington National Historic District and Copshaholm,
and tea at the Queen Ann Inn.
btrtas, the Council urges all residents and especially their children to participate in
these unique summer activities which will help foster pride, understanding and
appreciation, where children can become a vital link to this important neighborhood, its
revitalization, and its rebirth.

that pride and respect for each other and this important neighborhood of our City will
continue to grow.
