AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF SEVENTEEN HUNDRED
FIFTY DOLLARS (1750.00) FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND TO THE ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT, ONE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) OF SAME BEING FOR IN-
STALLATION OF NEW TRAFFIC LIGHTS ON NORTH MICHI-
GAN AT ANGELLA AND NORTH SHORE DRIVE AND SEVEN
HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS (91750.00) BEING FOR
SALARIES FOR VACATIONS OF ELECTRICAL
EMPLOYEES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana:
Section I'. That the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00)
be and the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund
of the City of South Bend to Account 5 -12 in the Electrical
Department, \the same being an account for general supplies
required fOr the installation of traffic signals at North
Shore Drive and Angella Street on the North Michigan Highway
In the City of South Bend.
Sect on II. That the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00)
be and the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of
the City of South Bend to Account S -2 in the Electrical Department,
the same being the account for Temporary Salaries, this amount to
cover the cost of giving the employees of said department a
vacation during the year 1937.
See_�ion III. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after publication, public hearing, passage by this
Council, approval of the Mayor and the State Tax Board.
