ORDINANCE NO. 3 'L -I-
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE
j EXPENSES OF THE FIREMENtS PENSION FUND OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BE-
GINNING JANUARY 1, 193, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1938,
INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGA^1IONS,
AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE
EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana:
SECTION I -• That She the expenses of the Firements Pension Fund of
said City for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1938, the follow-
ing sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out
of the funds herein named: and for the purpose herein specified, sub-
ject to the laws governing the same. Such sums herein appropriated
shall be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made dur-
ing the year, unless otherwise expressly stipulated and provided. by
law,
