AN ORDINANCE ratifyingy confirming and approving a
certain contract and agreement made and enbred into by and
between the City of South Bendy Indianap by and through its Board
of Public Works and Safety and Northern Indiana Railways Inc. and
Raymond R. Smithy Receiver of Northern Indiana Railways Inc.#
their successors and assignsy which said contract relates to the
operation of vehiclesy commonly known as motor bussesy for the
purpose of carrying passengers upon, over and along certain
streets and highways in said city.
WHEREAS, the foregoing contract and agreement.has been
submitted by said Board of Public Works and safety of the City
of South Bend„ Indiana* and the Northern Indiana Railways Inc.
and Raymond R. Smith., Receiver of Northern Indiana Railways Inc.
to- the Common Council of said city for its consideration and
action thereoft THEREFORE#
Section One. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of South Bendy Indiana# that the foregoin contract and
agreement made and entered into on the// A

the City of South Bendy Indiana; by and through its Board of
Public Works and Safety and the Northern Indiana Railway; Inc,
and Raymond R. Smithy Receiver of Northern Indiana Railways Inc.
their successors and assigns# which said contract relates to the
operation of vehicles# commonly known as motor busses# for the
purpose of carrying passengers upono over and along certain
streets and highways in said city# bey and the same isy hereby
in all things ratified., confirmed and approved.
Section Two: This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its adoption by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor of said City.
