AN ORDINANCE FIXrXG THE SALARIES AND PROVIDING FOR PAID
VACATIONS OF C1TTAIN CITY OFFICIALS A3•:D MtPLOYEES OF
THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH E'ND, INDIANA, and
REPEALIYG ALL ORDINANCES AND PA.,RTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREI"ITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common C ouncil of the City of South Pend,
Indiana:
Section 1 should be amended to read as follows:
SECTION 1. That the annual salaries for the following municipal
city officials and employees of the City of South Pend., State of
Indiana, be, and the same are hereby fixed, for the period commenc-
ing January 1, 1940, and ending December 31, 1940, as follows,
to —wit:
AND, the salary of the Superintendent of Electrical Department
shall be changed from $3500.00 to $2500.00 as of the dates in

SECTION II. That all of said above named officials and employees
/ who have served more than twelve months shall be entitled to and

SECTION III. That all ordinances of parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
