BE IT ORDAINED by the Common C ouncil of the City of South Pend, Indiana: Section 1 should be amended to read as follows: SECTION 1. That the annual salaries for the following municipal city officials and employees of the City of South Pend., State of Indiana, be, and the same are hereby fixed, for the period commenc- ing January 1, 1940, and ending December 31, 1940, as follows, to —wit: AND, the salary of the Superintendent of Electrical Department shall be changed from $3500.00 to $2500.00 as of the dates in SECTION 1 as amended.
