SmithORDINANCE No. 9,210- Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Approved and signed by i 47 Clerk of Common Council Clerk lJ ORDINANCE NO. 3 ;? f e AN ORDINANCE ratifying, confirming and approving a certain contract and agreement made and entered into by and between the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety and Northern Indiana Railway, Inc., and Raymond R. Smith, Receiver of Northern Indiana Rail- . way, IRc., their successors and signs, which said contract relates to the operation of vehicles, commonly known as motor busses, for the purpose of carrying passengers upon, over and, along certain streets and highways in said city. WHEREAS, the foregoing contract and agreement has been, submitte'4 by said Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, ,Indiana, and the Northern Indiana Railway, Ipc., and Raymond R. Smith, Receiver of Northern Indiana Railway, Inc., to the common Council of said city for its consideration and action thereat `THEREFORE, SectionEhae: BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,, Indiana, that the foregoing contract and agreement made and entered into on the2Lday ofjJune 1939, by the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety and the Northern Indiana Railway, Inc., and Raymond R. Smith, Receiver of Northern Indiana Rail- way, Inc ,q their successors and assigns, which said contract relates to the operation of vehicles, commonly known as motor busses, for the purpose of carrying passengers upon, over and along certain streets and highways in said city, be, and the same is, hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved, Section Two: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor of said City.
