BEND, INDIANA, FOR s1MGMTCY PURPOSES
TUfi1.+.'2>1.AS, the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, in its 1939
budget failed to appropriate sufficient funds for use of its Department
of Public Parks in the purchase of gasoline and electric current during
the calendar year of 1939, and
['SEAS, The Department of Public Parks of the City of South
Bend, Indiana is now without sufficient funds with which to purchase the
gasoline and electric current required during the balance of the calendar
year 1939, and
?'ff=. AS, an emergency now exists in respect to these matters,
NOW, BE IT ORDAINM, by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana:
Section 1. That the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars be
appropriated from the general fund of the civil City of South Bend, to
the gasoline account of The Department of Public Parks known as Budgetary
Item No. 331, in the 1939 Budget of The Department of Public Parks of the
City of South Bend, Indiana.
Section 24 That the sum of Four Hundred ($400.00) Dollars be
appropriated from the general fund of the City of South Bend, to the Electric
Current account of The Department of Public Parks known as Budgetary Item
No. 221, in the 1939 Budget of The Department of Public Parks of the City of
South Bend, Indiana.
Section 3. This Ordinance
