ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE _CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND
TNnTA IA & IaIICHIGAN ELECTRIC COMPANY, an
Indiana Corporation
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 11th day of
19 39, the City of South Bend,. Indiana, by and through its
Board of Public Works, pursuant to a resolution duly adopted,
made and entered into the following contract with Indiana &
Michigan Electric Com moan, an Indiana Corporation,
its successors and assigns, to -wit:
and
WHEREAS, said contract is now submitted to the
Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for its
due approval by ordinance;
SECTION 1. BE IT THEREFORE AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED
by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana that
the foregoing contract made and entered into on the 11th day
Of December , 1939 , between the said City of South Bend,
Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works, and Indiana
Corcoration
& Michigan Electric Company, an Indiana/ its successors and
assigns, be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, con-
firmed and approved.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
