"11 bertas, the City of South has determined that a unified effort would
be in the City's best interst when addressing through the negotiation process
such items as wages, salaries, fringe benefits, and working conditions; and
MbCrM5, the Fire Department Salary Ordinance and their Collective
Bargaining Agreement expire at the end of this calendar year; and
Wbtrta8, on April 6, 1993, the Board of Public Safety will consider a
Resolution to appoint a negotiating team to represent the Board regarding
upcoming Fire Department matters addressed in the Collective Bargaining
Agreement; and
UblM O, the Common Council and the City Administration jointly
agree that a unified effort through a City Negotiating Team for Fire
Negotiations is the best and most positive approach for the City.
