ORDINANCE N0. _336 �
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR TEE PURCHASE
OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR THE USE OF THE CITY WATER
WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
Whereas, the City Water Works of the city of South
Bend, Indiana, is required to make numerous main extensions;
and,
Whereas, it is advisable and desirable that certain
mechanical equipment be used in such work.
Now therefore, be it resolved by the Cp*% n
of the city of South Bend, Indiana, that:

Section 1. The contract between the ( Wait

of Chicago, Illinois, whereby the said Water Works ytfvdijised
certain equipment be, and the same is hereby approved and
ratified.
Section 2o The said contract calls for the purchase
by the City Water Works of the city of South Bend, Indiana,
of the following described equipment:
1 Allis- Chalmers Model "VM" Tractor $1830.00
1 Electric Starter 110.00
1 Baker Bulldozer, Model 209A
Excavator Type 920.00

Less 4% discount 115.00

Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
its approval by the Mayor.
