ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF BARRETT LAW
BONDS AND COUPONS, AND THE INTEREST OF THE CITY
WITH RESPECT THERETO, ISSUED BY SAID CITY IN
CONNECTION WITH IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTIONS NOS. 1863
AND 1923.
BE IT ORDAINED AND RESOLVED: By the Common Council of
the City of South Bend that the City of South Bend sell, assign,
transfer and convey:
All its right, title and interest that it now
has, or may have, in and to Barrett Law bonds
and coupons issued by said City of South Bend
pursuant to Resolution No. 1863, providing for
McKinley Avenue pavement from Sunnyside to
Greenlawn Avenue, Roll No. 2144; and
All its right, title and interest that it now
has, or may have, in and to Barrett Law bonds
and coupons issued by said City of South Bend
pursuant to Resolution No. 1923, providing for
McKinley Avenue pavement from Greenlawn to
Twenty- Second Street, Roll No. 2235; and
All of the right, title and interest of said
City of South Bend in and to any assessments
levied on account of said bonds or coupons
owned by said city:
to INLAND BONDING COMPANY, a corporation, for the sum of ONE
HUNDRED ($100.00) DOLLARS, and that the Mayor be, end he is hereby
ordered, directed and authorized to execute and deliver to said
Inland Bonding Company upon the payment of said sum of money a goo
and sufficient assignment of said property herein authorized to be
sold; and this shall be sufficient authority to him in said p_remis
