ORDINANCE NO. �3
AN ORDINANCE REDUCING CERTAIN APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE
HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR THE YEAR 1940, AND TRAANSFERRING
THE AMOUNT SO REDUCED TO THE GENERAL FUND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of South
Bend, Indiana,
Section 1. That the following appropriation for the year
1940 in the Health Department of the city of South Bend, be reduced in
the amounts hereinafter set out, and that said money'.so appropriated
revert to the General Fund of the city of South Bend, Indiana.
Appropriation for salaries under.Budgetary Item U -1 be
reduced in the amount of $360.00.
Telephone appropriation under Budgetary Item U -2 be
reduced inthe amount of :5.00.
Clothing appropriation under Budgetary Item U -7 be reduced
in the amount of $75.00.
Appropriation for coal under Budgetary Item T -11 be reduced
in the amount of $92.00. ,
Appropriation "for coal under Budgetary Item U -6 be reduced
in the amount of $12.75.
Appropriations for food under Budgetary Item T -10 be reduced
in the amount of -- :167.29.
Appropriations for medical supplies under Budgetary Item T -11
be reduced in the amount of $100.00; the total amount of reductions being
$812.04.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its enactment an4 approval by the 'Mayor.
