AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
ROLLER BY THE SOUTH BEND CITY STREET DEPARTMINT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1. That the Board of Public Works and Safety and the
South Bend City Street Department be, and are hereby authorized
to purchase one "Warco Whizzard" Roller from the W. A. Riddel
Company, Bucyrus, Ohio, at a price of Three Thousand Four Hun
Fifty ($3,450.00) Dollars. As a part of said purchase price,
the South Bend City Street Department is further authorized to
turn over and deliver to the said seller the old roller of said
Department at a trade in value of not less than Two Hundred
($200.00) Dollars.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approv
by the Mayor.
