AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SOUTH BEND CITY
STREET DEPARTMENT TO SELL PERSONAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the South Bend City Street Department have
(4) dump trucks which are obsolete and warn, and should
tely be disposed of at the best price obtainable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL

INDIANA:
ection 1.
That the
South
Bend City Street Department and the
Board of Public Works and Safety be, and are hereby authorized
to sell and dispose of the following described vehicles:
One 1931 Studebaker two ton Dump Truck, Title No.
T181450, Serial No. 3450758, Engine No. 3291.
One 1937 Studebaker one and one -half ton Dump
Truck, Title No T180970, Serial No. TM2 -550,
Engine No. 1T13627.
One 1931 Studebaker two ton Dump Truck, Title
No. T181449, Serial No. 3450755, Engine No. 331.
One 1930 Ford One and one -half ton Dump Truck,
Title No. T63366, Engine No. 1464813.
That said trucks may be sold without an appraisement,
it appearing to the Common Council that there are to be four
separate, independent sales, and no single truck exceeds in
value the sum of One Hundred ($$100.00) Dollars.
