AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING CERTAIN FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL
FUND OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND FOR EMERGENCY PURPOSES.
WH;-REAS, the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, in its Budget
for the year 1941 failed to appropriate sufficient funds for
Repairs of Equipment in both the Street Department and the
Police Department, accounts known as I -3A and P -10 respectfully
during the calend6l.K year of 1941, and
WHEREAS, the Street Department and the Police Department
are now without sufficient funds with which to purchase parts
and other services needed in the repair of their equipment,
during the balance of the calends year of 1941, and
matters,
WHEREAS, an emergency now exists in respect to these
Now, be it ordained, by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana:
Section 1. That the sum of six hundred dollars ($600.00)
be appropriated from the general fund of the Civil City of
South Bend, Indiana to the repairs of equipment account of
the Street Department known as budgetary item No. -I -3A in
the 1941 Budget of the General Fund of the City of South Bend,
Indiana.
Section 11. That the sum of twelve hundred dollars
$1200.00) be appropriated from the general fund of the Civil
City of South Bend to the Repairs of Equipment Account of
the Police Department known as budgetary item P -10 in the
1941 Budget of the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Ind.
Section 111. This ordinance shall be in full force
