AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND RATIFYING A
CIMTAIN CONTRACT MADE AND ENTRUD INTO
BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFLTY
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND THE N. G.
CHRISTMAN CONSTRUCTION Ci PAXY, INC.,
FOR TBr ERECTION OF A SHOP ADDITION TO
THE CENTRAL FIRE STATION OF THE 014ri OF

W6iEF2EAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety asked and
received bias for the construction of said Shop Additions to the
Central Fire Station of said city$ and
WHEREASp an analysis received reveals that the H. 4.
Christman Construction Company, Inc., was the lowest and best bid.

WHEREAS, the necessary funds for the construction of said
Shop Addition have been previously appropriated$
Now,,thereforep ' be it ordained by the Common Council of
the City of South -Bend thatt
Section I# The, contract between the City of South Bend
and the H. G. Christman Construction Company, Inc.# made and enter-
ad into by the said construction company and the Hoard of Public
Works and Safety of said ciry be$ and the same is hereby, ratified
in the amount of $6944 in accordance with its provisions for addi-
tions or deductions, all as appears in the specifications..
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and its
approval by the Mayor.
