AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CHARGING OFF
OF CERTAIN AMOUNTS FROM THE RECORDS OF
THE PARK DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, liquidation of the Union Trust Company
of South Bend has been completed and the final dividend there-
under paid; and,
WHEREAS, there was remaining in said depository
the amount of $2482.51 credited to the Park Maintenance Fund
and the amount of $9210.00 credited to the Park District
Fund; and,
WHEREAS, the State Board of Accounts has author-
ized the foregoing to be charged from the records.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA; THAT:
Section 1. The proper officers of the city of
South Bend, Indiana, be and the same are hereby authorized to
charge from the records of the Park Department or of the Civil
City of South Bend the amount of $11,692.51 in accordance
with the recitals hereinabove contained.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council
and its approval by the Mayor.
