HomeMy WebLinkAboutFixing the Tax Levy for the Year 1943ORDINANCE No. ?�A 313 Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, 0 Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, City Clerk of Common Council Clerk Approved and signed by me llci 19� i7 ORDINANCE NO. - 133 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TAX LEVY FOR THE YEAR 1943 FOR THEE MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA section le Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That there be and hereby is levied the following amounts for the year 1943 on each One Hundred Dollars (4100.00) of assessed valuation of property in the City of South Bend, Indiana, as fixed by the officers of St. Joseph County and the State of Indiana, for the objects named: For General Fund Park Maintenance Fund Park District Fund Police Pension Fund Firemen's Pension Fund Sinking Fund Hospital Fund Sectioh 2. There shall be levied a Poll Tax of Fifty Cents ($.50) on every male inhabitant of said City, sane and not a pauper, of the age of Twenty -one years and not over the age of Fifty years. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
