ORDINANCE N0.
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES AND PROVIDING
FOR PAID VACATIONS OF CERTAIN CITY OFFICIALS AND
EMPLOYEES OF THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana:
SECTION I. That the annual salaries for the following municipal
city officials and employees of the City of South Bend, State of
Indiana, be, and the same are hereby fixed, for the period commenc-
ing January 1, 1945, and ending December 31, 1945, as follows, towit:
Chief of Police

Captains of Police, each

Lieutenants of Police, each

Sergeants of Police, each

SECTION II. That all of said above named officials and employees
who have served more than twelve months shall be entitled to and
receive an annual vacation of fifteen days with full pay therefor.
SECTION III. That all Ordinances of parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.:
SECTION IV. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
