HomeMy WebLinkAboutReducing the Appropriation for the Budgetaty Year 1944 personal Service Account Numbered S12ORDINANCE No. -e/ y I--- Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana / City Clerk Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Approved and signed by of Common Council it Clerk ORDINANCE NO, APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNTS TO SAID ACCOUNTS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, certain accounts of certain departments of the City of South Bend do not have sufficient funds for the budgetary year 1944, and, WHEREAS, there is a public need for the proper functioning of said departments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: 1. Budgetary Account No. S12, Personal Service Account in the budget of the Street Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1944, be and the same is hereby reduced in the amount of Nine Hundred and Seventy -Five Dollars ($975.00), and said amount is hereby returned to the Street and Traffic Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana. 2. The amount of $75.00 is hereby transferred from ttn Street and Traffic Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the Budgetary Account No. S221 - Electrical Current, and the said amount is appropriated for the uses and purposes of said account. 3. The amount of $750.00 is hereby transferred from the Street and Traffic Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the Budgetary Account No. 5261 - Medical and Surgical, and the said amount is appropriated for the uses and purposes of said account. - 1 - 4. The amount of $150.00 is hereby transferred from the Street and Traffic Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the Budgetary Account No. 5214 - Telephone and Telegraph, and the said amount is appropriated for the uses and purposes of said account. 5. There is an, emergency requiring the transfer and appropriation of the amounts hereinabove set forth. b.
