DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, that.
1, The sum of Eight Hundred and Ten Dollars ($810.00) be, and
the same is hereby appropriated from the general fund of said City to Budgetary
Account No. B -11, covering salaries in the Police Department of said City for
the payment of salaries to Police Matrons.
2. The necessity for services by Police Matrons in handling adults
and juveniles arrested or detained by law, is in the nature of a Public
Emergency.
3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, and the
fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating to such appropriation.
