AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING CERTAIN FUNDS FROM
THE GEN= PM OF THE CI IL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, v
VWFAS, I= Civil City of South Bend, Indiana in its 1943
Budget failed to appropriate sufficient funds for the use of its
Department of Public Parks for certain services contractual, the pur-
chase of certain necessary supplies and for necessary property maintenance
and replacement of certain equipment during the calendar year 1943, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Parks of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, is now without sufficient funds with which to make necessary
repairs to certain equipment, to pay for certain emergency medical treat-
ment for an injured employee of said Department, to purchase certain
necessary spraying materials, to purchase certain necessary supplies
of fertilizer, to purchase certain necessary additional materials of
Zoo food and to replace certain necessary equipment during the balaaace
of the calendar year 1943, and
WHEREAS, an emergency now exists in'rospect to these materials.
NOW, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana:
Section 1. That the sum of Two Hundred ($200.00) be appropriated
from the general fund of the Civil City of South Bond. Indiana, to the
SERVICES CONTRACTUAL, account of the Department of Public Parks (;mown
as Account No. 252 Repairs of Equipment) of the 1943 Budget of the
Department of Public Parks of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Section 2. That the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars be
appropriated from the general fund of the Civil City of South Bend,
Indiana, to the SERVICES CONTRACTUAL account of the Department of Public
Perry (known as Account No. 261 Other Contractual) of the 1943 Budget
of the Department of Public Parks of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Section 3. That the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00))Dollars be
appropriated from the general fund of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana,
to the SUPPLIES account of the Department of Public Parks, (known as
Account No. 381 Spraying Materials) of the 194.3 Budget of the Department
of Public Parks of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Section 4.
That the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars be
appropriated from the general fund of the 8ivil City of South Bend,
Indiana to the SUPPLIES account of the Department of Public Parks.

of Public Parks of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Section 5. That the sum of Two Hundred ($200.00 ) Dollars
be appropriated from the general fund of the Civil City of South Bend,
Indiana to the SUPPLIES account of the Department of Public Parks,
Ovaown as Account No. 383 Zoo Food) of the 1943 Budget of the Department
of Public Parks of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
Section 6. That the sum of Four Hundred Eighty Eight Dollars
and Sixty —two cents ($488.62) be appropriated from the general fund
of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana to the PROPERTIES account of
the Department of Public Parks (known as Account.No. 726 Other Equipment)
of the 1945 Budget of the Department of Public Parks of the City of
South Bend, Indiana.
Section 7. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
