Whereas, certain accounts in certain departments of the City of South Bend lack sufficient funds for the year 1943; and, Whereas, the purposes of such accounts are necessary or desirable for the benefit of the community and for other valid purposes, NOVI, THEREFORE, BE; IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend that: Section 1. The amount of 0677.90 be, and the same is, hereby transferred from the General .blind of the City of South Bend, Indiana to the budgetary account numbered B261 and that the said amount be, and the same is, hereby appropriated for the purposes thereof. Section The amount of 620.00 be, and the same is, hereby transferred from the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana to the budgetary account numbered Q,H31 and that the said amount be, and the same is, hereby appropriated for the purposes thereof. Section The amount of 0100.00 be, and the same is, hereby transferred from the General Fund of the Citbt of South budgetary Bend, Indiana to the /account numbered S252 and that the said amount be, and the same is, hereby appropriated for the purposes thereof. lo Section -lam. The amount of $100.00 be, and the same is, hereby transferred from the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana to the budgetary account numbered S252 and that the said amount be, and the same is, hereby appropriated for the, � purposes thereof. \ Section 3e: The needs of each of the forgoing accounts of the various departments hereinabove described and the appro- priation of funds for said purposes is hereby declared to be an emergency. /L Section Y3: In the event any one or more of the forgoing items shall not be approved, the remaining items shall not be affected thereby as it is the purpose of the 0bmmon Council that each of the forgoing items shall be treated separately and individually as though in separate ordinances. �3 Section 14: This ordinance shallbe in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Iaiayor, and its publication and approval as is by law provided. i ember o the o m Council M�KE y - /3nlV
