AN ORDINANCE REDUCING dGLij B FOR THE YEAM
1943 BEING A BUDGETARY ACCOUNT FOR THE REPAIR OF BRIDGES;
TRANSFERRING CERTAIN FUNDS TO BUDGETARY ACCOUNT #H251A FOR
THE YEAR 1943 BEING A BUDGETARY ACCOUNT FOR THE REPAIR OF
BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES; APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS FOR THE
USES OF SAID BUDGETARY ACCOUNT #H251A; AND DECL&RING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, that-
Section Section 1 -he P�- . �i�ere&- ii�5�� of the
budget of said City for year 1943, be and the same is hereby
reduced in the amount of 1,000.00.
Section 2 - The amount of 1,000.00 be and the same is
hereby transferred from the General Fund of the City of South
Bend to Budgetary Account #H251A in the budget of said City
for the year 1943, the same being the account for the repair
of buildings and structures.
Section 3 - The amount of 41,000.00 transferred, as in
Section 2 herein provided, be and the same is hereby appropri-
ated for the uses and purposes of said Budgetary Account #H251A.
Section 4 - The proper care and maintenance and necessary
repairs of buildings and structures of the City of South Bend
cannot be carried out unless such transfer and appropriation
is made and the Common Council specifically finds that an
emergency does exist.
Section 5- This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage with the Common Council and
its proper legal publication and approval, all as by law
provided.
