"MEREAS, the Board of Public .forks and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, after publishing notice and obtaining bids, has accepted the bid of the Dooley Electric Company, a partnership, for the construction and installation of a part of a traffic signal system within said City and in accordance with the written specifications, and ?IHEREAS, the said Board of Public Works and Safety has made a separate and additional agreement with said Dooley Electric Company for additional work over and above that required under the specifications, and 71MREAS, the said contract calls for the expenditure of sums properly appropriated and available. JOjlt, TIJEH&FOTv, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: 1. The contract .made and entered into by and between the City of South Bend, Indiana, acting through its Board of Public VIorks and Safety, and the Dooley Electric Company, a partnership, whereby the said Dooley Electric Company agrees to construct and install a part of a traffic signal system in accordance with certain written specifications for the sum of ti12436.60 in accordance with the Unit prices set forth in said contract be, and the same is hereby approved. 2. The additional portions of said contract calling for additional work if required in an amount not to exceed x"431.53, be, and the same is hereby approved. 3. The copy of said contract, without the written specifications which are on file in the office of the Board of Public 'forks and Safety in the City of South Bend, Indiana, be, and the same is hereby Wade a past of t this ordinance.
