MiEREAS, in the budget of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for
the year 1945 an error was made in determining the amount necessary for
wages and salaries in the Electrical Department, and
�7HEREAS, it is necessary in order to maintain a fire and signal
system of said City and to operate said Electrical Department properly
that a correction be made.
Noi% T=LFOF.E, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend that:
1. The amount of Seventeen hundred thirty -two Dollars and thirty-
two cents ($1732.32) be, and the same is hereby, transferred from the general
field of the City of South Bend to Budgetary Account No. V -li, wage's and
salaries in the Electrical Department of said City for the calendar year 1945.
2. The amount of Seventeen hundred thirty -two dollars and thirty-
two cents ($1732.32), in addition to amounts previously appropriated
therefor, be and the same is hereby appropriated for the uses and purposes
of Budgetary Item No. V -11, viages and salaries in the Electrical Department
in the budgetary year 1945.
3. An emergency exists requiring the transfer and appropriation
of the foregoing sums.
4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by the Common Council and the fulfillment of statutory
requirements governing emergency appropriation.
