ORDINANCE NO.L
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE APPRAISAL AND SALE
OF CERTAIN PERSONAL.PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA TO- ?'TIT: ALL SHARES OF
STOCK HELD BY THE SAID CITY IN THE SOUTH BEND
MANUFACTURING COMPANY
1 EREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, owns certain shares
in the South Bend Manufacturing Company, and
IHF EAS, it may be desirable to sell such shares.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend that:
1. The proper officers of the City of South Bend are hereby
authorized and directed to petition the St. Joseph Circuit Court for the
appointment of appraisers for the appraisal of all shares of stock owned
by said City in South Bend Manufacturing Company, an Indiana Corporation,
and
2. The proper officers of the City of South Bend are hereby
authorized to sell said shares of stock in accordance with the statutory
rules governing such sales.
3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
