AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZIA'O THE SALE OF CER-
TAIN LOTS OWNED BY THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, AYT? LOCATED IN COQUILLARD
WOODS ADDITION, SECTION A. IN THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA
'WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, by virtue of conveyances made
pursuant to order of the St. Joseph Superior Court No. 2 in the matter
of the administration.of Coquillard 'oods ddition, consolidated Barrett
Law Trust made and entered on the 19th day of December, 1944, the
Municipi City of South Bend became the owner of the following described
real estate situategin St`.' Joseph County, State of Indiana, to wit:
Lots No. 7 and the South 28 feet of Lot No.
6, Lot No. 196 and the Nest half of 191S,
Lots No. 16, 103 and the South 18.62 feet
of Lot No. 104, Lot No. 120, 254 and the
North 21 feet of Lot No. 253, and Lots
No. 158, 159,160, 169, 170, 174, 177, 250,
Lot No. 184 and the North 28.62 feet of Lot
No. 183, and Lots No. 188, 189 in Coquillard
Woods Addition, Section A, in the City of
South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana
WHEREAS, the above described real estate is conducive to no
public use by the Municipal City of South Bend, and in the best interests
of said City should be sold; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Judge of the Circuit Court of the
City of South Bend is hereby requested to appoint three disinterested
freeholders of the City for the appraisement of the following described
real estate situate in St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, to wit:
Lots No. 7 and the South 28 feet of Lot
No. 6, Lot No. 196 and the I'est half of
1950 Lots No. 16, 103 and the South 18.62
feet of Lot No. 104, Lot No. 120, 254 and
the North 21 feet of Lot No. 253, and Lots
No. 158, 159, 160, 169, 170, 174, 177, 250,
Lot No. 184 and the North 28.62 feet of Lot
No. 183, and Lots No. 188, 189 in Coquillard
Woods Addition, Section , in the City Of
South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAIPM by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend that the pity of South Bend sell, assign, transfer, convey,
and set— over by proper instrument in writing to any purchaser thereof
the real estate hereinbefore described in separate parcels as groups
of parcels or in toto for not less than the full appraised value thereof'
as reported by the appraisers appointed by the Judge'of the St. Joseph
Circuit Court; and the Yayor is hereby ordered, directed, and authorized
to execute and deliver to such purchasers thereof upon the payment of
the appraised value, therefore, a good and merchantable deed; and this
shall be sufficient authority to him in said premises.
