ORDINANCE NO. .5�5-,2 0—
WHEREAS, it has been determined that improvements and modernization
of the Water Department of the City of South Bend is necessary and desirable,
and
WHEREAS, one of the steps in such improvement is the electrification
of the North Pumping Station, and
WHEREAS, a proposal has been made by Consoer, Townsend & Associates,
Consulting Engineers, concerning such improvement under date of May 9, 1945, and
WHEREAS, subject to the approval of the Common Council, said
proposal has been accepted by the Board of ??later Works Trustees.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, that:
1. The proposal of Consoer, Townsend & Associates dated May 9, 1945,
relating to the preparation of detailed designs, drawings and specifications
for electrification of North Pumping Station accepted by the Board of Water
Works Trustees on the 21st day of May, 1945, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof be, and the same is hereby, approved, ratified
and confirmed.
2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
