AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF X80 *00 FROM ACCOUNT
NO* R«331, GASOLINE AND OIL, DEPARTMENT OF WEIGHTS AND
MEASURES; AND THE SUM OF $65#00 FROM ACCOUNT NO* R4339
TIRES AND TUBESS DEPARTMENT OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES; AND
ALSO THE SUM OF $60 *00 FROM ACCOUNT NO. 8434, OTHER
GARAGE AND MOTOR SUPPLIES, DEPARTMENT OF WEIGHTSS AND
MEASURES, TO ACCOUNT NO. 8.+251, REPAIRS OF CITY SCALES,
DEPARTMENT OF.WEIGHTS AND MEASURES, AND DECLARING AN
EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY*
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend:
Section 1* That the following monies be, and the rime hereby
are, transferred, namely; $80#00 from Account No* R"331, Gasoline and
Oils Department of Vaights. and Measurea; $56*00 from Account Noe 8..333,
Tires and Tubes, Department of Weights and Measures; $5400 from Account
No* R"3342,.Other Garage and Motor Supplies, Department of Weights and
Measures, to, and are appropriated for the uses and purposes of the
following budgetary item in the budget of the Department of Weights
and Measures of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1949:

Section 2a That the above sum of money is required for the
proper operation and function of the aforementioned Department of the
Government of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and an extraordinary
emergency is declared to exist concerning the foregoing transfers and
appropriations*
Section 39 That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the
Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating to
extraordinary emergency appropriations.
