AN ORDINANCE ANJENDING AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMION COUNCIL OF THE-' CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA: That,
1. Ordinance No. 3742/, of the Ordinances of the City of South Bend, Ind-
iana be, and the same is hereby amended to provide for change of zoning of the
following area:
(a) Lots No. 26, 27, 28, 29 in Garden Village Unit One from
C Commercial to C -1 Commercial district.
(b) Lots 25 and 30 in same addition from B residence and A
height and area district to C -1 commercial and D height
and area districts.
(c) Lots 84, 855 86, 87, 134, 135, 136, 137, 184, and 185
in Garden Village Unit One from C commercial and D
height and area districts to A residence and A height
and area districts.
(d) Lots 1 to 24 inclusive, Lots 31 to 83 inclusive, Lots
88 to 133 inclusive, lots 138 to 183 inclusive from B
residence district to A residence district.
(e) The land north of a line 400 ft. north of and parellel
with the centerline of Western Avenue to the line of W.
Washington Street prolonged to the westerly city limits
and west from the north and south alley next west of
Chicago Street to the westerly city limits, from A
height and area district to B height and area district.
(f) A strip of lard 2482 feet in width, north and south,
the north line of which is a line 400 feet north of
and parallel with the centerline of 1,Testern Avenue,
and extending west from the north and south alley next
west of Chicago Street to the westerly city limits,
from B residence and A height and area district to
C commercial and E height and area districts.
(g) Lots numbered 1001, 1020, 1021, 10405 1041, 1060, 1061,
1062, 1079, 1080, 1081, 1082 and 1083 of the Second Plat
of LaSalle Park, an Addition to the City of South Bend,
Indiana, be re —zoned to "B" -residential district and A
height and area district.
2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the fulfillment of all legal requirements applicable to such ordinances.
