ORDINANCE NO. S 5
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, that:
1. The City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through
the Board of Public Works and Safety and other proper
officers and officials be and it is hereby authorized
to sell the following described personal property now
used by the departments hereinafter mentioned, to -wit:
Traffic Engineer
1 1939 model Chevrolet truck bearing

1 1937 model Studebaker coupe bearing

2. The City of South Be4d shall petition the
Judge of the St. Joseph Circuit Court for the appoint-
went of three (3) disinterested freeholders of this city

to act as appraisers and upon compliance with law is
authorized to consummate the sale of said personal °pro -
perty either singly or together as may be determined to
be in the best interests of said city without further
approval of the Common Council.
3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council
and its approval by the Mayor.
