ORDINANCE NO. 359
ZING THE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, that:
1. The City of South Bend, Indiana, by and
through the Board of Public Works and Safety and other
proper officers and officials be and it hereby is
authorized to sell the following described personal
property formerly used by the South Bend Fire Depart-
ment, to -wit:
1 Two and one -half inch double male
connection.
1 Two and one -half inch double female
connection.
Hose and ladder straps.
1 Two and one -half Inch by four inch
suction hose connection.
1 Two and one -half inch play pipe.
1 Siren with motor, phase 3, Cyc 60,
R.P.M. 3400, AMP phase 5, H.P. 20
bearing motor number P 539596.
2. The City of South Bend shall petition the
Judge of the St. Joseph Circuit Court for the appoint-
ment of three (3) disinterested freeholders of this city
to act as appraisers and upon compliance with law is
authorized to consummate the sale of said personal pro-
perty either singly or together as may be determined to
be in the best interests of said - city without further
approval of the Common Council
