AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE

BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, that:
1. The City of South Bend, Indiana, by and
through the Board of Public Works and Safety and other
proper officers and officials be and it '_Hereby is
authorized to sell the following described personal
property now used by the South Bend Police Department,
t o -7.rit :
One 1941 model Chevrolet ambulance
bearing Serial Number IAK066765 and
Engine Number AD999732, and
One 1932 model Studebaker patrol
wagon bearing Serial Number 6025424
and Engine Plumber 10495
2. The City of South Bend shall petition the
Judge of the St. Joseph Circuit Court for the appoint-
ment of three (3) disinterested freeholders of this
city to act as appraisers and upon compliance with law
is authorized to consummate the sale of said personal
property either singly or together as may be determined
to be in the best interests of said city without further
approval of the Common Council.
3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council
and its approval by the Mayor.
