AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
WHEREAS, an affidavit of the City Civil Engineer
stating that the Street Department of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, is the owner of a 1938 model Ford one -half
ton pick -up truck bearing motor and serial number T 394563
and is of no value.to said department has been filed with
the Common Council; and
WHEREAS, said City Civil Engineer has appraised
said motor vehicle and states in said affidavit that its
fair cash market value is Ninety Dollars (.;590.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by 'the Common
Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that;
1. The City of South. Bend, Indiana, by and
through the proper officers and officials be and it here-
by is authorized to sell for cash and without an appraise-
ment that certain 1938 model Ford one -half ton pick -up
truck bearing motor and serial number T 394563 now of no
use or value to the Street Department of said city.
2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council
and its approval by the ,-fayor.
