OF BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that; 1. The City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through the Board of Public Works and Safety and other proper officers and officdals be and it hereby is author- ized to sell the following described personal property which is not now necessary to the proper operation and function of the South Bend Police Department, to —wit 24 Motorola 69--13 receivers 5 Motorola 69.-18 receivers 5 Motorola 69 -13 receivers (salvage) 1 Philco car receiver 1 Howard receiver (salvage) 2 RCA type MI -7815A receivers, motorcycle 1 HRO station receiver, 1634 Kc. 2 B- 19 -24A Motorola receivers 1 B- 19 -24HF Motorola receiver 1 Doolittle and Folknor FD -8 frequency monitor 14 Bassett HEF -30 car transmitters 14 Bassett HF -15 car transmitters 2 Bassett car transmitters (salvage) 2. The City of South Bend shall petition the Judge of the St. Joseph Circuit Court for the appointment of three disinterested freeholders of this city to act as appraisers and upon compliance with law is authorized to consummate the sale of said personal property either singly or in groups as may be determined to be in the best interests of said city without further approval of the Common Council. 3.
