OFDINANCE NO. —10'9
WHEREAS, it is urgently necessary to make certain expendi-
tures for repairs and equipment for the South Bend Public Natatorium,
and
i"JHEREAS, the said Public Natatorium cannot be opened to
public use until such equipment and repairs are installed, which items
are as follows, to —wit:
Shower Curtains 25,00
Patching Plaster in Locker Rooms 150.00
Blast Coils in Ducts 300.00
Signs for All Buildings 50.00
Keys and Locks 100.00
Spring Board for Natatorium 50.00
and Total $ 675.00
INHEREAS, the Department of Public Parks of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, is now without sufficient funds with which to meet such
expenditures as hereinbefore set forth, during the balance of the cal-
endar year of 1946. and
WHEREAS, an emergency now exists in respect to these items.
NOW BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana:
Section 1. That the sum of $675.00 be appropriated from the
Park Maintenance Fund of the Department of Public Parks of the Civil
City of South Bend, Indiana to the uses and purposes of budgetary
Account No. 251 (Services Contractual) for the repairs of buildings and
structures of the 1946 budget of the Departmert of Public Parks of the
City of South Bend, Indiana.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect upon its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the
Vayor, and the fullfil]_mert of all statutory requirements relating to
emergency appropriations.
