The March 23, 2015 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council was called to
order by Council President Tim Scott at 5:04 p.m. in the Council's Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Tim Scott, Henry Davis, Jr., Valerie
Schey, Dr. Fred Ferlic, Dr. David Varner, Oliver J. Davis, Gavin Ferlic, Derek D. Dieter and Karen
L. White; Robert Palmer, Attorney; and Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski - Farrand.
The Executive Session was called pursuant to the "Notice of Executive Session" dated
March 19, 2015 (attached) which states in part that the meeting is being held pursuant to Indiana
Code § 5- 14- 1.5 -6.1 (b)(2)(B) for the discussion of strategy with respect to pending litigation or
litigation which has been threatened in writing ".
This is to certify that the only subject matter discussed at this Executive Session was that
contained in the March 19, 2015 "Notice of Executive Session ".
President Tim Scott adjourned the meeting at 5:58 p.m.
