SUBJECT: Property Title Correction Deed.
On January 151h 2015, staff brought forward a proposal for professional services agreement
with Meridian Title Company to assist with researching and renaming all Redevelopment
owned properties into a consistent name.
Attached is a deed renaming all Redevelopment owned properties: Department of
Redevelopment of the City of South Bend for use and benefit of the Department of
Redevelopment.
Once signed, Staff will work with the County to correct all property titles. Staff will move
forward with creating a GIS layer making it easier to track all Commission owned properties.
Staff asks the Commission to execute the deed.
