Ordinance No. 3702, being the zoning ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be, and the same hereby is, amended so that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St, Joseph County, Indiana, towit: Lots 4 to 32.inclusive in Homeland Addition, Lots 140 to 255 inclusive in Homeland 2nd Addition and 256 to 371 inclusive in Homeland 3rd Addition, be, and the same is hereby, changed from "E" heavy industrial and "F" height and area districts to "B" residence and }rB" height and area districts. Section II. It will be noted that this is an amended petition which originally called for a change to A residential and A height and area and that at the request of the City Plan Commission thohr petition was amended to read B residence and B height and area district This property is on the south side of Ewing Avenue from Olive Street to Raley Street and on the north side of Ewing AVenne to West Calvert Street from Olive to Raley Street. The present zoning of E heavy industrial and F height and area district does not permit the building of houses and their local restrictions do not encourage the building of industrial buildings.
