ORDINANCE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CO:VON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA; THAT,
1. Ordinance No. 3702 of the Ordinances of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, be and the same is hereby amended to provide
the indicated zoning of the following area, to -wit:
Lots numbered 49 and 52, in Whiteman's First
Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana
and Lots numbered 59,60,85,88 and 89 in Prairie
Avenue Heights Addition to the City of South
Bend Indiana, be changed to "B" Residential
and f'A" Height and Area District, from "C"
Commercial District and "D" height and Area
District.
2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the fulfillment of all legal requirements applic-
able to such ordinances.

Gentlemen:-
Petition of Alex Kovacsics et. ale for change of zoning of
Lots #49 and 52 in Whiteman's First Addition and Lots #59,
600 85, 88 and 89 in Prairie Avenue Heights Addition from
C commercial and D height and Area districts to B residence
and A height and area districts has been given public hearing
by the City Plan Commission.
This change is recommended as petitioned for.
These lots are in the 1900 and 2000 block Prairie Avenue. They
are not continuous along the street but the City Plan Commission
Is studying the zoning in that area with the idea of changing
other lots on those blocks residential.

Councilman Korpal made a motion that the petition be
referred to the City Plan Commission. Councilman Erler
seconded the motion. Motion carried•
