CALLED THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEM
BE IT ORDAINED:
By the Common Council of the City of South Bend, that Ordinance
No. 'a19Z, as amended, which ordinance is commonly called the zoning ordin-
ance of the City of South Bend, be amended as follows, to-wit-
SECTION 1: That the following described real estate
in the City of South Bend, County of St. Joseph, State
of Indiana, shall be rezoned as "Cu Use District and "En
Height and Area District:
Lots numbered one hundred forty -nine (3 -49), one hund-
red fifty (150) and one hundred fifty -one (151) as shown
on the recorded Plat of Belleville First Unit, an Addition
to the City of South Bend, together with 1/2 of the vacat-
ed alley lying on the vest side of said Lot numbered 149
and Lots 191 and 192 in Section H of Belle Village Addi-
tion to the City of South Bend, being a parcel of land in
the northeast corner of Kenmore and Sample Streets 123.36
feet north and south and 117 feet east and west.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council,
approval by the Mayor, and legal publication.

Gentlemen:-
Petition for change of zoning of Lots 149, 150 and 151 in Belle viile
First Unit together with a parcel of land 117 feet on W. Sample St. and
123.36 feet north and south and located at the NE corner of W. Sample
St. and Kenmore St. from D light industrial district to C commercial
district was given Public hearing by the City Plan Commission on
May 4, 1950.
This change is recommended as petitioned for.
This property is on the north side of W. Sample St. from Falcon to Kenmore
Street.

meeting of the Council the following matter was referred to you for appropriate disposal or for
specific action as indicated:
Petition to rezone Lots numbered 1490 150 and 151 as shown on the
Recorded Plato Belleville First Units, an Addition to the City of
South Bend, together with one -half of the vacated alley lying on
the west side of said Lot numbered 149 and Lots numbered 191
and 192 in Section "H" of Belle village Addition to the City of
South Bend from "D" Use District and "E" Height and Area District
to "C" Use District and "E" Height and Area District.
Councilman Tellson made a motion that the petition be referred to
the City Plan Commission. Councilman Glass seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
