AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of S
Bend, Indiana:
Section I. Ordinance No. 3702, being a zoning ordinance
in the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is
amended so that the zoning classification of the following
ed real estate in the City of South Bend, Indiana, to -wit:
Lots Numbered Seven (7), Eight (8) Nine (9),
of John E. Walz., Revised Addition �o the City
of South Bend, County of St. Joseph, State of
Indiana,
be and the same is hereby changed from "B" Use and "A" Height and
Area Districts to "C" Use and "E" Height and Area Districts.
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval
by the Mayor and Legal Publication.

Gentlemen:-
Petition of Ida M. Walz for change of zoning of Lots No. 7, 8 and 9 in
John E. Walz Revised Addition from B use and A height and area districts
to C use and E height and area districts was given public hearing on
July 6, 1950.
The City Plan Commission recommends that this change of zoning be made
as petitioned for.

These lots are on the west side of South Michioan Street next north of
Sherwood Avenue and join Lots A and 10 of the same addition which
are now zoned commercial.

PETITION FOR REZONING
Comes now IDA M. WALZ, widow, resident of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, and petitions the Honorable Common Council
of the City of South Bend to amend the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of South Bend, Number 3702, adopted June 13th, 1949, by
charging the zoning of Lots Numbered Seven (7), Eight (8), Nine
(9) of John E. Walz, Revised Addition to the City of South Bend,
County of St. Joseph, State of Indiana, from "B" Use and "A"
Height and Area Districts to "C" Use and "E11 Height and Area Dis-
tricts. The petitioner herein is the owner of said lots.
