AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 3701,
AS A. MNDED, WHICH ORDINANCE IS COMIONLY
CALLED THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF ^1HE CITY Or
SOUTH BEIM
BE IT ORDAINED:
By the Common Council of the City of South Bend, that Ordinance
No. 3702, as amended, which ordinance is commonly called the zoning ordin-
ance of the City of South Bend, be amended as follows, to wit:
SECTICN is That the following described real estate
in the City of South Bend, County of St. Joseph, State of
Indiana, shall be rezoned as "C" Use District and "E"
Height and Area District:
Lots Numbered 54, 55, 56, 57, 58 and 59 as shown on
the recorded Plat of Augustine's Addition to the City of
South Bend, and the south one-half of the vacated alley
extending along the north end of said Lots numbered 57,
58 and 59.
SECTION 2: That the following described real estate
in the City of South Bend, County of St. Joseph, State of
Indiana, shall be rezoned as "A -1" Use District and "A"
Height and Area District:
Lots Numbered sixty (60) and Sixty -one (61) as shown
on the recorded Flat of Augustine's Addition to the City
of South Bend and the north one -half of the vacated alley
extending along the south side of said Lot numbered 60..
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effec fry o`m and after its passage by the Common Council,
approval by the Mayor, and legal publication.

Gentlemen:-
Petition of Anthony Albano et.al. for change of zoning of lots 54
and 55 in Augustines Add. from D height and area district to E
height and area district; lots 56, 57, 58 and 59 in same addition
from B residence and A height and area districts to C commercial
and E height and area districts; lots 60 and 61 in same addition
from A residence district to A -1 residence district was given public
hearing July 6, 1950.
The City Plan Commission recommends this change be made. The change
is more clearly stated above than appears in their petition.

field Streets and the first two lots on east side of Brookfield Street
North of L.W.W., as shown on accompanying map.
